1980 - 1988 Musicalstudies at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and at the conservatory in Rotterdam. Followed by masterclasses in France( Roberto Aussel, Leo Brouwer) and Finland(Manuel Barrueco). Sonology and Art and Management at the university in Utrecht. 1984 Finalist in the Concours de Castre(classic) in France. 1993 Finalist in The International Ibanez Award(pop) 1990 - 1995 Touring Holland, Belgium, Germany and Austria with his own made compositions in small and grand theaters with life music and dance.    |
1995 - 1998 Founding Ontopstudio. Compositions for many stylistic projects, with songs, jazz, pop, multimedia and classical music. Starting De Gevoelige Snaar (The Sensitive String) for childrenconcerts. 1999 - 2000 Release of CD Timeline, life for Dutch National television. Touring USA as an upright Bassplayer in a Big Band on the Glenn Miller Festival and in the Kansas University. Nomination for the Rabo Culture price. 2001 Release of 'The Airy Ghost Of Man', 9 musicians acoustic jazz, flamenco and world music. 2003 Composition for the Residentie orchestra and vocal choir.
